Born in Sheffield with Yemeni heritage a few inches over 5ft and not much change out of 9st, Prince Naseem Hamed or Prince Nas was one of the first lighter-weight fighters to really put on a show both inside and outside the ring. Love him or hate him nobody could deny that Prince Naz was a crowd drawer and proved this by headlining huge fight nights in London, Vegas and New York. Most boxers would think doing a front flip over the top rope was a bit extravagant, but this was just your everyday for Nas. During one iconic world title fight against Vuyani Bungu Naz decided to really make an entrance. As his music started the spotlights headed towards the rafters of the packed arena and high up amongst the lights Prince Naz was floating down on none other than a Magic Carpet.
