The Goosey Moment
The Cardinals made their first Super Bowl appearance in franchise history in 2008, off the back of a dominant post-season performance from Larry Fitzgerald. He caught three touchdown passes in the first half of the NFC Championship game on his way to a 152-yard performance. Before the Superbowl game Fitzgeralnd had amassed 419 yards in the postseason, which broke Jerry Rice’s record for the most receiving yards in one season’s playoffs. Including the Super Bowl, Fitzgerald had 546 yards, a record that still stands today and an iconic TD moment.
