The Goosey Moment
“And he does a bit of a boogie!” is the famous line which goes with quite possibly the most famous Great Britain rugby league try, maybe not the most important, but for sure one of the most memorable. The try itself was scored by Henderson Gill in front of a packed Sydney Cricket Ground stadium to help give Great Britain victory and cement Gill's celebration as one of the most iconic moments in international rugby league. Gill ran the length of the field and after downing the ball jumped up and in his own words “did a little dance” as he recalls he thought he could do anything he wanted once he crossed the line.
