The Goosey Moment
Prior to the somewhat controversial Rugby League star Paul Cooke doing the unthinkable and crossing alliances from Hull FC to Hull KR, he was writing himself into Hull FC folklore. 2005, Cardiff's Millennium Stadium was the stage, Cookes Hull FC trailed Leeds Rhinos 24-19 with under 3 minutes remaining, 6 tackles remained between Leeds and glory. Up stepped Cooke and took full advantage of those remaining tackles, gliding through a gap in the tiring Leeds defence to score under the posts and gift Hull their first cup victory in 23 years.
