The Goosey Moment
The Rugby World Cup Final 2003 will be remembered for that certain drop goal in extra time, but earlier in the game there was another moment which will remain iconic in English rugby fans eyes. A gloriously unnecessary dump tackle from Mike Tindall on George Gregan delighted the travelling fans. Jason Robinson had tried a chip and chase and was taken out off the ball, George Gregan collected the kick and began to make his way down the left flank but was stopped unceremoniously by Mike Tindall. Tindall first hit Gregan and then lifted him off the ground, ran him backwards right off the field and then dumped him onto his back.
