The Goosey Moment
Manu Tuilagi made a sweet break in the opposition 22 in the 58th minute with the Saracens wing on his shoulder. Ashton raced through and completed the score with a swallow dive, much to the crowd’s delight, as England went on to beat the All Blacks at Twickenham 38-21. The ‘Ash Splash’ as it was coined was Ashton’s signature celebration but wasn’t loved by all.
